Whether you're an outdoor professional or a weekend warrior, if you're hard on your gear this straightforward pack is up to the task.

DURABILITY
Built to withstand every outdoor environment, from sandstone canyons to alder-filled alpine forests.

MADE FOR WORK
Made for big days with an integrated raincover, trekking pole attachment and easy-access organisation.

RAINCOVER INCLUDED
Because rain or shine, there's no excuse to not hit the trail. Stores in a zippered pocket at the base of the pack and made with bluesign® approved fabrics and DWR treatments made without PFAS.

AirScape™ BACKPANEL
The AirScape backpanel offers updated adjustable torso lengths and features a new injection-moulded framesheet for a stable, breathable, close-to-body carry, even when the trail gets technical.

BODY-SPECIFIC FIT
Kestrel/Kyte is designed to provide a body-specific fit to achieve maximum comfort and stability across body types. Packs designated as Women’s are best suited for shorter, narrower, curved body types compared to packs designated as Men’s.

SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
bluesign® approved main body and bottom fabrics. GRS-certified 100% recycled main body and bottom fabrics. All DWR treatments made without PFAS.

Step One: Preparation
Begin by removing any removable harnesses and hipbelts from your backpack. Pay attention to hidden or detachable parts that may also require cleaning and drying.

Step Two: Cleaning
Use a mild soap with warm water in a bathtub or large sink to clean your backpack and its components, employing a sponge or soft brush for gentle scrubbing. Avoid harsh chemicals.

Step Three: Rinsing
Rinse the backpack thoroughly to eliminate all soap residues, ensuring both the interior and exterior are soap-free.

Step Four: Drying
Hang the backpack in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight for drip and air drying. Proper ventilation is crucial to avoid prolonged dampness.

Additional Note:
For travel packs with a High Road™ Wheeled Chassis, do not immerse in water. Clean by wiping the chassis and scrubbing the fabric with warm soapy water.

Nikwax & Grangers
For further care, Osprey recommends products from Nikwax and Grangers for upkeep and water repellency. Apply following the general washing instructions, and consider products like Nikwax’s Tech Wash and Grangers' Gear Cleaner for enhanced maintenance. Nikwax’s Tent & Gear SolarProof is also recommended for improving UV and water resistance.

Important Note
Machine washing your backpack is not recommended as it may damage the structure and fabric. Shop Grangers Here

Osprey

Since Osprey was founded in 1974, every single product design has passed through the hands of owner and founder Mike Pfotenhauer, who created his first backpack at age 16.

In Santa Cruz, California, he opened a retail shop in the front of his rental house where backpackers & travelers came for custom-fit, made-to-order packs constructed by Mike himself. As the demand for the great-fitting packs increased, Osprey relocated to its current home in Southwest Colorado.

Today, Osprey is a melting pot of diverse personalities, backgrounds and abilities. All share the common belief that adventure is open to everyone and found anywhere.
