Black Diamond - Oakley

Black Diamond is entirely about climbing and skiing. What began with a backyard anvil and a hammer has grown into a global company with offices on three continents that's not just for rock climbers, but one that stands for the spirit of the sports we live. Since 1957, Black Diamond's innovative gear designs have set the standards in numerous areas.
Oakley was started by James Jannard in 1975. Initially producing number plates, gloves, grips, elbow guards, chin guards, and goggles for BMX and motocross; in 1980, they released a pair of goggles called the O-Frame. In 1983 Oakley began selling ski goggles. The first Oakley sunglasses; Factory Pilot Eyeshades, were released in 1984. Today, Oakley holds more than 600 patents for eyewear, materials, and performance gear.
