"Driest of them all!"
Bought this while planning a trip to Scotland this year. The weather was near perfect but the day we did get dumped on all my other friends jackets soaked through and the Rupal kept me bone dry (waist up at least). Can not recommend it enough!
As a bonus, the sleeve construction makes the jacket stay down on my waist when I lift my arms too. Perfect active-wear!Éanna • 27/03/2017
"Hands down the best jacket I have ever owned"
This Mountain Equipment 'Alpine Jacket' is extremely well suited to hiking, scrambling and, especially climbing when reaching up high for holds. The best part of this jacket is the hood, which keeps you safe and dry out of the elements when it really wet out.
The jacket is a perfect blend of comfort and durability with the GoreTex 75D throughout.

"Toasty and comfy for the long runs and hikes"
The Rupal is as great a waterproof-windproof running jacket as it is a waterproof-windproof hike jacket. During the Art O'Neill challenge this year in January I decided to save a little space on gear by just using a single jacket to do the Hybrid challenge. I ran the 30km of the Art in the jacket with just a base layer underneath and then when I came to my hike section I swtiched into a new base layer and fleece and kept the Rupal on for the last 23km. Although freezing cold outside on the night the Rupal held true to its design and I was happily warm and dry for the rest of the challenge.
