    "Smart looking waterproof jacket"

Although this jacket is only dryvent and not goretex, it has never let me down. It's sized generously which is one of the reasons that I went with it, so I can get a 200 weight fleece under it without feeling too confined. Also, it's smart looking, I got black, so I've been able to wear it to funerals and other outdoor gatherings where a garish mountainy jacket would have been a no go.
The only drawback is the hood, it's particularly big with no system to reduce the volume so I often need to wear a hat with it as the peak allows me to see where I'm going.
