The Earth’s Stok Kangri Trek with Earth’s Edge Stok Kangri climb is 15 days in total and is suitable for experienced trekkers who have a good level of fitness. Towering at an impressive 6153 metres, Stok Kangri is a serious challenge.
At 6,153m is the highest mountain in the Stok Range of the Himalayas in the Ladakh region of north-west India. The peak is located in Hemis National Park, 12 km south-west of the trailhead at 3,610m in the village of Stok and 24 km southwest of the Ladakhi capital of Leh.
Stok is mainly a trekking peak, but there is some scrambling involved so it’s a perfect challenge for both people looking for an introduction to altitude mountaineering and technical climbing.
