Meindl Footwear Size Conversion
Meindl uses German (EU) and UK sizing as standard. Slight size differences may occur between boot models due to construction.
Tip: Only a boot that really fits makes you happy! If you are between sizes, Meindl recommends going up to the larger size for comfort, especially when wearing thicker hiking socks.

How to Measure — Footwear

1
Foot Length Place your foot on a sheet of paper. Mark the back of the heel and the tip of the longest toe. Measure the distance between the marks in mm and find your size in the chart above.
2
Measure Both Feet Always measure both feet. Most people have one foot slightly larger — always use the larger measurement.
3
Best Time to Measure Measure in the afternoon or evening when your feet are at their largest. Avoid measuring first thing in the morning.
4
Wear Your Hiking Socks When measuring for hiking or mountain boots, wear the socks you plan to use — this affects your ideal size significantly.
5
Toe Room A correctly fitted Meindl boot should have about 10–12mm of space at the toe. This prevents toe impact on descents.
