How to Measure — Footwear

1
Foot Length Place your foot on paper and mark the heel and the tip of the longest toe. Measure the distance in mm. Use the larger foot if they differ.
2
Measure in the Afternoon Feet naturally swell throughout the day. Measure in the afternoon or evening for the most accurate fit.
3
Wear Your Hiking Socks For hiking boots and trail shoes, always measure while wearing the socks you plan to use — this can affect your size by up to half a size.
4
Between Sizes? Go up to the larger half size for a more comfortable fit, especially for hiking and trail running where toe room is important on descents.
