Irish Ramblers Club

Founded in 1964 by a group of energetic young people who enjoyed hikes and hill walking, the Irish rambler's Club has grown over the last 60 or so years into a large, and very active club or over 700 members.

With several walks organised every week on Sundays and Thursdays, there's plenty of options to enjoy a gentle or more challenging walk on the hills with like minded folk. The club posts details of these on their website, detailing what type of distance and terrain to expect with each.

As well as the website, members are kept updated on happenings and upcoming hikes with the clubs monthly newsletter, "The Rambler". The fun isn't just limited to the hills with the club organising social gatherings and opportunities to have a nice meal together after a long hike too.

The Meindl Bhutan MFS

It's no wonder that this style has been in our range a very long time with many customers returning to get the exact same model.

The ever popular Meindl Bhutan MFS offers incredible ankle support.

The waterproof leather upper is protected by a rubber rand which makes it last a lot longer.

The memory foam system(MFS) around the ankle is so comfortable.

The aggressive Vibram outsole is extremely grippy even on the muckiest of hillsides.

You will see many pairs of this boot on the Irish hills, and further afield.
