WASH
Step 1: Zip all zippers and fasten flaps and straps before washing.
Step 2: Use a gentle machine wash setting at 105°F/40°C with a small amount of liquid detergent. Rinse thoroughly twice and minimize spinning. Avoid powder detergents, fabric softeners, stain removers, or bleach. Do not mix with heavily soiled clothing.
DRY
Step 1: Tumble dry on a warm, gentle cycle or opt for line drying. Avoid high temperatures.
Step 2: To reactivate the DWR treatment, tumble dry the garment for an additional 20 minutes once it's dry. Alternatively, iron on a gentle setting with a protective towel or cloth over the garment—no steam. Reactivation can help whenever water repellency needs enhancement.
RE-APPLY
Step 1: Should water cease to bead and run off, it's time to reapply a DWR. Choose a suitable DWR spray or wash-in product.
Step 2: Post-application, tumble dry for 20 minutes to activate the DWR. For iron activation, use a gentle setting, sandwiching a towel or cloth between the iron and the garment.
