Trangia

Trangia has built the same idea in Sweden since the 1950s: a spirit burner that sits inside a windshield-and-pot-stand, with the pans, kettle and burner all nesting into one packable unit. No moving parts to fail, nothing to clog in an ultra-simplistic setup. The meths burner lights in wind and cold that can defeat a gas canister, which is why the system stays a fixture for hillwalkers, cyclists and anyone cooking a long way from a shop.
