Fake Great Outdoors Websites
We're aware of websites copying the Great Outdoors name, logo and product photos to take payments and personal details. These sites have no connection to us, and we can't fulfil or refund orders placed on them.
Our only website is www.greatoutdoors.ie.
How to check you're on our real website
- Check the address bar. It should read www.greatoutdoors.ie and nothing else. Copycat sites often use similar names, extra words or different endings in the address.
- We will never ask for your card details by email, text, phone or social media message. Payment is only taken at checkout on www.greatoutdoors.ie or in our shop.
- Be wary of social media ads showing very large discounts or "closing down" sales under our name. Type www.greatoutdoors.ie into your browser yourself rather than clicking the ad.
- If in doubt, contact us before you pay. Our shop is at 53/54 South Great George's Street, Dublin 2, D02 X208, and you can call us on (01) 67904293.
If you think you've paid a fake website
- Contact your bank or card provider straight away to block your card and ask about a chargeback.
- Report it to your local Garda station.
- Report it to the CCPC at ccpc.ie.
- Let us know. Contact us with the website address so we can report it and have it taken down.
Seen a suspicious website or ad?
Please send us the link, even if you didn't buy anything. Every report helps us get copycat sites removed faster.
