The Garmin GPSMAP H1i Plus is a rugged handheld GPS navigator designed for off-grid adventures, featuring both a 3.5-inch colour touchscreen and physical buttons for versatile control in any conditions. The device is built to military standards (MIL-STD-810) and has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

•Its standout feature is the integrated inReach Plus satellite technology, which requires an active subscription but allows you to:
•Send and receive two-way text messages
•Send voice memos and photos
•Trigger an interactive SOS alert to a 24/7-staffed emergency response centre

The H1i Plus also comes with preloaded TopoActive maps, which include terrain contours, elevations, and geographical points. It offers multi-band GPS and multi-GNSS support for accurate location tracking and can download high-resolution satellite imagery directly via Wi-Fi. The device is equipped with a built-in altimeter, barometer, and a 3-axis electronic compass. For emergencies, it includes a siren and a flashlight.

Handling: Avoid dropping the device or exposing it to excessive force, despite its rugged design.
