A survival shelter is one of the most valuable pieces of safety kit you can carry, and the Lifesystems Survival Shelter 1 packs serious protection into just 265g. Sometimes called a bothy bag, it pulls over your head and shoulders to create an instant windproof, waterproof refuge. Originally developed for mountain rescue, it traps your body heat to build a warm internal microclimate that can keep you going for hours while you wait out a storm or wait for help.

Tough, fully waterproof build with PU-coated fabric, taped seams and a 5000mm hydrostatic head to hold back driving rain.
Waterproof seat panel that keeps you off cold, wet ground, a key defence against heat loss.
Warm microclimate created by trapping body heat, so you stay warmer during planned stops or emergencies.
