The Victorinox Skipper Pro is built for sailing — and specifically for the two tasks that a generic pocket knife can't handle on the water: working a jammed shackle or seized knot with the lockable marlin spike, and staying visible when dropped on a heaving deck with the bright orange lanyard. • Lockable marlin spike — the defining sailing tool on the Skipper Pro. A robust stainless steel spike that locks open for prying shackle pins, opening seized knots, splicing rope, and any task requiring controlled leverage. The lock prevents the spike from folding under pressure — critical when working against a seized pin or tensioned line.
• Bright orange lanyard — high-visibility orange cord lanyard for attaching the knife to a life jacket, harness, or wrist strap. Keeps it on the boat and visible on a wet deck, in a cockpit locker, or overboard if dropped.
