How to Measure — Footwear

Foot Length Trace your foot on paper. Measure from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe in a straight line. Use the larger foot if they differ.

Foot Width Measure from just below the ball of your foot to the outside, below the base of the little toe. Round to the nearest 0.5mm.

Best Time to Measure Measure your feet in the afternoon or evening when they are at their largest after daily activity.

Between Sizes? For a more secure fit, try the smaller size. For more room for your toes, go up half a size.

⚠ Updated Sizing — Clifton 10, Arahi 8 & Challenger 8 These models have updated sizing. HOKA recommends going down half a size in UK from your usual HOKA size. For example, if you normally wear a UK 5.5 in Clifton or Bondi, try a UK 5 in these models. If you're new to HOKA, stick with your usual size.

New hiking shoes

Got new shoes similar to previous ones and the fitted exactly the same. I was able to do a long hike on the very first day I wore them without any issue.

Great shoe at a great price

Was looking for a good running/walking shoe for the winter and came across the Hoka Anacapa 2 Low Goretex on the Great Outdoors website. Wear goretex most of the time and looking forward to wearing them over the next few months.

I was looking for a pair of walking shoes that are suitable for footpath and rugged terrain. I liked the look of the Hoka Anacapa 2 so I ordered a pair and to my astonishment they arrived the following day . I love how comfortable they are and how good they feel on my feet. I did have to add an insole under the insole in the shoe as after wearing for a few days they felt a little loose but maybe that was my socks who knows . I’m very happy with my purchase and I'm extremely happy with the prompt delivery from The Great Outdoors. A fantastic level of service .Thank you so much !
