These are my second pair of quest 4, last pair served me very well. I would recommend these to any hiker , great support, really like the clasp that allows the foot and ankle to be laced with different tension. I have broad feet and this lets me keep the toe box losser while still keeping the ankle tighter.
They are comfortable out of the box and don't need to be wore/broken in.
I had been looking on the Internet for these boots so I was delighted to find that they were available on the great outdoors website at a reduced price. I bought them online and they were delivered very quickly within about three days. I was very pleased with the website and the speed of delivery and I’m very happy with the boots themselves they are exactly what I want.
Salomon Quest GTX 4 is reasonably light with a good balance between hardness and flexibility. Grip is good on loose ground. Need to wear it in first though, as uppers need stretching initially.
After a delivery delay that was outside of the control of Greatoutdoors, they really pulled through and worked tirelessly to get my boots to me. They even issued a credit note to apologise for the delay which I thought was amazing.
I cannot recommend this company enough .
The Salomon boots as people that are into hiking know are amazing and these quest 4's are no different, absolute market leading comfort and quality
